Quint Buchholz at the Munich Buchpalast
Quint Buchholz is celebrating his 60th birthday this year – and on this occasion the Buchpalast (“Book Palace”), a bookstore with a very special selection in Munich-Haidhausen, is showing a number of original works and fine art prints by the neighborhood artist. For the first time in his thirty-nine years of working as a painter and illustrator some of his sketches can be seen in exhibition, e.g. from the production of “The Collector of Moments”.
Also, on September 27, 2017 Quint Buchholz and Dorothée Kreusch-Jacob will present their new book “Sun, Moon and Evening Star” (“Sonne, Mond und Abendstern”). After the reading, the painter and the music pedagogue will speak about the ideas behind and the production of the book and perform some of their favorite songs and poems together.
A large selection of Quint Buchholz’s books will be available for purchase the whole time, some of them personally autographed.
More information can be found on the Buchpalast’s website.
