Illustrare & Narrare
From 21st November 2011 the Schwäbisches Bildungszentrum in Kloster Irsee is showing original artworks from four masters of the Schwäbischer Kunstsommer: Line Hoven, Ulrike Steinke, Reinhard Michl and Quint Buchholz.
The exhibition "Illustrare & Narrare" (illustrate and narrate) is intended as a eye-opener on the complex field in which illustrators operate, and compares their work with graphic storytelling which either is, or is supposed to be, more independent.
The exhibitions runs from 21st November 2011 to 31st January 2012.
